Socialization is Key.

In our life we need socialization to survive and be who we want to be. It is the way in which we develop our own individual personalities. We are built through the internalization of our socialization, but what happens when you don’t get enough socialization in your life. According to Harlow`s experiment the isolation of children left them damaged and for them to have success afterwards is very difficult. The socialization of children is important to the biological processes, most societies organize the life course by age, but besides socialization there are a couple of other factors that influence the way someone`s personality is developed.
In class we talked about all the different ways that race, class, and social conflict affect our personalities.  People from different classes will act different ways depending on how their parents and teachers act. The adults in a child`s life are a huge part of their socialization and they are the main people that help to develop your true personality.

Social interaction is the process by which people act and react in relation to others. Humans rely on social structure to make sense out of everyday situations. I know that when I go a few hours without socialization I feel like I am alone in the world and then I meet up with some friends and I just feel alive and it is the best thing in the world. There are many times in which we all feel alone and left out and then there is that socialization between our friends, family, and even the socialization between total strangers that gives us that feeling of belonging to someone and to be a part of something bigger. It’s how are brains are hardwired. Communication between people is what allows us to creatively shape our way of life, our personality, and our true self.
